The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Management wishes to inform all Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) that the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream I Orientation Course is scheduled to hold in all NYSC Orientation Camps nationwide as follows:

📅 Important Dates & Schedule

  • Commencement/Registration: Wednesday, 10th June, 2026.

  • Cut-off Date for Registration: Midnight of Friday, 12th June, 2026.

  • Swearing-in Ceremony: Monday, 15th June, 2026.

  • Closing Ceremony: Tuesday, 30th June, 2026.

🚨 Crucial Guidelines for Prospective Corps Members

  1. Deployment and Reporting: All Prospective Corps Members deployed for the Orientation Course are advised to proceed to their respective camps as indicated in their Call-up Letters.

  2. Foreign-Trained Graduates: You must report to the camp with your International Passports and original copies of all uploaded documents.

  3. Information Internalization: PCMs are enjoined to carefully read through the Call-up Letter and internalize all the information therein.

  4. Travel Safety & Security: PCMs are strongly advised to board vehicles only at government-approved motor parks and transport companies. This reduces the risk of falling prey to criminals.

    • The NYSC Distress Call Centre short code 6972 is always available for assistance.

  5. No Night Journeys: The NYSC strongly advises against night travel. Once it is 6:00 PM, break your journey and pass the night at the nearest military or police barracks, NYSC Secretariat, or NYSC Corps Lodge.

  6. Polytechnic & Monotechnic Graduates: You are required to present your National Diploma (ND) certificate alongside other documents as a prerequisite for registration.

  7. Document Integrity: On no account should fake documents be presented. Anyone caught doing so will be apprehended and handed over to law enforcement agencies for prosecution.

  8. Loss of Call-Up Letter:

    • If you collected it physically from your institution, obtain a Police Report and a Sworn Affidavit, then report back to your school.

    • If you printed it online, you can simply log into your portal and reprint it.

  9. Penalties for Evasion: Any person who fails to report for service or refuses to make themselves available shall be prosecuted in line with Section 13 sub-section 1(a) and (b) of the NYSC Act, Cap. N84, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.

  10. Illegal Participation: Any ineligible person who attempts to participate, or those already issued Exemption/Service Certificates who try to re-participate, will be prosecuted under Section 13 sub-section 2(a) and (b) of the NYSC Act.
